Without the USB audio device will be no audio or IF pass through, although you would have the control signaling working as you mentioned. If you see it in your sound control panel, go to the mic tab (in windows), right click on the device -> properties, then enable the "listen to this device" setting, which should let you hear static (or a signal) through your computer speakers. #Baud rate wxtoimg driverCheck to make sure you have that driver installed I linked in the previous post, then also check with your VM software to make sure you have it passed through. There should definitely be a USB audio device in windows, it sounds like you're missing it. I also verified all settings you mentioned. Here it appears like I can steer the radio but I cannot confirm audio as I cannot see any decent waterfall or get any audio signal to come out the PC. It can only connect to com port 4 and does not get a successful connection on com 3 when I tried. Ham radio deluxe has settings for the 7100 and recognizes it. I think where I'm having an issue is when selecting the Burr-Brown driver, my sample rates are 48, 44.1, 32, 22.05,16,11.02,8Khz and nothing near 192000 which is what I believe the radio is set at.
